Wooden Owl Decoy Carving by Eustace

Very nice hand carved wooden owl decoy. It is etch signed on the bottom and dated 1973 with an electro pen. I can't make the name of the maker out but I believe it is last name of Eustace. Mounted on a piece of wood for the base. It is in very good condition.

Owl decoys were used to lure crows when hunting them. Crows are a nuisance to the farmers fields. A nice wooden sculpture that is hand made and painted.
