Wards Red Head 12 Gauge Wooden Shot Shell Box

A great looking Wards Red Head 12 ga. wooden shot shell box. Sold by Montgomery Wards stores. Its a clean box with great graphics.
 
Origin: The "Red Head" brand was established by the Montgomery Ward department store in 1923 for their shotgun shell line.
Manufacturer: The shells were manufactured by Federal Ammunition.
Branding: The name "Red Head" was used until the 1950s when it was replaced by the "Hawthorne" mark, which was a general brand for all of Montgomery Ward's outdoor products.
